Kady Serlin is a New York City–based entertainment media professional passionate about telling stories that reveal emotional truth. Her work across film, journalism, and live events has screened at festivals worldwide and reflects a voice grounded in curiosity, empathy, and a deep connection to people. A recipient of the Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards Scholarship, she has earned over ten Student Emmy nominations and won two. She interned with Chicago production companies Film in a Bag and XVP Studios and served as Executive Producer of her high school broadcast team, leading live sports and theatrical productions. She also trained at film programs at USC and UCLA. Now a film and television student at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Kady works across narrative, nonfiction, and live event production, including with New York–based MB Productions, while pursuing independent projects. She approaches every story with intention and a commitment to work that feels urgent and human.
